As the sun sets over Auburn, join us at Walt’s on the Roof for a memorable golden-hour experience. Sip a glass of sparkling wine, savor a chef-curated charcuterie board, and capture the moment with a Polaroid keepsake—complete with a magnet frame to take home. Offered daily during sunset, this is the perfect way to toast the day and welcome
the evening sky.

Garden to Table: A Curated Horticultural Experience
Take a behind-the-scenes tour of Auburn University’s FoodU Program, exploring vertical gardens, greenhouses, and raised beds, ending in The Laurel’s rooftop gardens. Enjoy a curated Kaizen lunch at 1856 – Culinary Residence. Tours require 48-hour notice and are subject to availability.
Auburn University Raptor Center
Experience Auburn’s Raptor Center with a private guided tour. Meet over 20 birds of prey, explore enclosures and training areas, and enjoy a memorable photo with a resident eagle. Perfect for individuals, families, or groups. Tours can be arranged through The Laurel Hotel & Spa concierge with 24-hour notice, subject to availability.
Yoga on the Roof
Flow, breathe, and refresh at Walt’s on the Roof with a yoga session from The Yoga Room. This dynamic class will guide you through a seamless flow of movement and breath, helping you build strength, balance, and mindfulness. Available select Saturdays every month.
